There has been plenty of drama in the NBA Playoffs, let alone the Eastern Conference Finals. Game 6 is a must-win for both the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks. This game is a must win because if Toronto wins they eliminate the Bucks in Toronto and head to the NBA Finals to face the defending champions Golden State Warriors. Then if the Bucks win they force a game 7 back in Milwaukee. No matter what way this game will be intense. Not only that this game will show and tell viewers which teams want to make it to the NBA Finals more.
Toronto Raptors Key(s) to Victory
One of my bold predictions is that Nick Nurse needs to start Serge Ibaka and have Marc Gasol come off the bench. Other than that the starting lineup should stay the same. The reason for this is that Ibaka matches up well with Brook Lopez of the Bucks. After game 5 we know the Bucks are going to do their best to shut down Kawhi Leonard and make other players step up and make plays in the clutch. Now with Leonard being defended heavily that leaves someone open.
For Toronto, the player they will want open is Danny Green. Green is a fundamental defender who can shoot the ball from anywhere. He is one player who will have to step up and knock down shots. Lastly, Siakam will need to not only be efficient on the offensive end but also in shutting down Giannis. If the Raptors expect to win they have to play defense, make their shots, hustle, and make the small plays that count but aren’t kept in the box score.
Milwaukee Bucks Key(s) to Victory
My bold prediction for the Bucks to force a game 7 on the road is their bench needs to show up and drive to the rim. They don’t need to attempt or force three-point shots. It is in Milwaukee’s’ best interest to drive to the rim and maybe earn a trip to the free throw line. They have a stronger bench while the Raptors have the pure shooters in their starting lineup. What I mean pure shooters is the Raptors starting five can shoot the ball from anywhere on the court.
if the Bucks can make their free throws they will stay in the game. Let me remind you game one when they came back and won. Also, if the bench can make their shots they will have a chance of winning this game. They can’t just rely on the starting five. Lastly, the Bucks need to focus on playing basketball and nothing else. if they do that they will force game 7 and have a chance to make the NBA Finals.
