What on Earth is everybody so upset about? Drake is living rent free in everyone’s head and he did absolutely nothing. He’s not doing this to make anybody upset. He takes great pride in his city and wants to show his support. He’s not intentionally making this all about him; the media is making it all about him. Everyone needs to stop crying like little babies over Drake.
As far as the chirping goes, he’s using his influence to try and help his team win. Obviously Drake is no ordinary fan. People pay attention to him. You may think he’s overstepping his bounds, but if the players on the court are truly professionals (and they are), Drake’s chirping will not affect their play. He isn’t creating any unfair advantage for his team.
That little massage he gave to Nick Nurse really bent people out of shape, which is absolutely ludicrous because THAT’S HIS GUY. Nick Nurse is the Raptors’ coach, and if you aren’t aware of Drake’s ties to the Raptors organization, you haven’t thought very deeply about this. Drake is friends with the owners, management, and players. He is very much a part of the team, even if he doesn’t play for them.
The business with him and Draymond is the absolute best part of all of this. Basically here we have two possible scenarios. The first, and most likely, one is that Draymond was jawing with Drake just because he wanted to. I seriously doubt that one game would be enough for Draymond to snap at him like that. Draymond and Drake are probably good buds for all we know. Easily could have been just friendly chirping.
However, if this isn’t the case, it means that Drake is actually getting under Draymond’s skin which is even funnier. Imagine if Drake, the rapper, were living rent-free in the head of Draymond Green after just one Finals game. I don’t understand how you could hate that?
Everyone getting worked up about what Drake is doing has absolutely no reason to. Chill. Relax. Laugh at something. It’s sports and it’s supposed to be fun. Just Stop Crying Like Little Babies Over Drake
