Monday Night Raw comes to us live tonight from inside the Verizon Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas!
Seth Rollins vs Dolph Ziggler
Tonight, Seth Rollins squares off against Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler laid out Shawn Michaels last week on MizTV, potentially leading to a dream match between the two at SummerSlam. If this is the case, Ziggler needs look great over the next couple of weeks heading into this potential match. At the same time, Rollins is challenging for the Universal championship at Summerslam and can’t afford to lose this match.
The most obvious outcome to have would be a DQ finish. Both men need to look strong coming out of tonight.
Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns
A ‘Samoan Summit’ will take place on Monday Night Raw tonight. The pair have had beef the past week and will look to settle it. The ‘Summit’ is going to involve them talking it out.
This will probably end badly. Neither men have a match for SummerSlam, so it makes sense to continue this rivalry for WWE‘s biggest party of the summer. Two high profile superstars like this deserve a singles match at a big PPV like SummerSlam, so why not have it be against each other.
Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss
The Man, Becky Lynch will go one on one against Alexa Bliss tonight. Lynch could very easily be outnumbered during this match. With Bliss in the ring, Nikki Cross on the outside, and Natalya more than likely will be waiting in the wings. The Man may have more than she can handle tonight.
The 24/7 Championship
R Truth is the 24/7 champion; I think. The championship changed hands nine times last week on Monday Night Raw. It was a great way to weave legends in and out of the show and ultimately let R Truth “get his baby back”.
This championship has been a highlight of Monday Night Raw since it was brought in over three months ago. It would be ideal to let someone other than R Truth or Drake Maverick get a story with the title sooner than later.
