Universal Championship
How did we get here? A handicapped match for the championship. Where’s Roman? Bray? Rollins? Where’s anyone but The Miz and John Morrison? Give me someone else to believe that Braun Strowman can lose to. Not these 2, even though I’m a fan of The Miz. That music video was edited worse than Morrison’s entrance. So the cracks showed between the challengers and Braun retained. Someone call Brock Lesnar and get him back to Florida.
RAW Tag Team Championship
So after weeks of nonsense ax throwing, golf, basketball and bowling between The Viking Raiders and The Street Profits we finally get a match? Now I look at these belts as whoever is around gets them cause let’s be real, does RAW even have any other tag teams? Absolutely no match happening here, just some terrible action movie junk. I no longer want the smoke. It’s not a good day to raid. Ninjas. What’s this fascination with breaking glass of a sudden too? STOP IT! LEAVE THAT GRAND NATIONAL ALONE! I’m hungry for a turkey leg. Alligator trash bags? This whole paragraph made as much sense as this filler promo.
WWE Championship
Two men that can be champions and actually have a real match? Who’d have thunk it? Anyways, great match. Terrible ending, Lana messing it up better start the breakup of her and Lashley. This story line has got go, if MVP is Bobby’s manager that’s fine. It can work, just lose the Lana baggage. Eventually I do believe that Bobby Lashley will be the Universal or WWE Champion, just not until we have fans in attendance again.
The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever
I like the theatrics for the entrance, that was good stuff. This match stole the show, hands down. I’ll start out by saying I love both of these guys. Edge has certainly lost a step but he’s still got it. Orton did a fine job of amazing sells and great knocks. Usually blood in wrestling is reserved for Wednesday nights these days but I don’t mind it here. Am I imagining things or was there crowd noise filtered in? I’m going to say the only reason we’re getting better camera angles in this match is because Vince trusts both of these veterans to not botch anything. Plus, all the finishers from the greatest era of wrestling was cool. RKO kick out? Spear kick out? I’m kind of surprised Vince let Randy use that finisher. If you missed this match you missed a great show.
