The Charlotte Hornets will be tipping off the season Wednesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. This being my first year covering the Hornets, I wanted to lean on some folks to help me get started. I’ve discovered many great personalities within the Charlotte Hornets Twitter world. Perley is the first person I found when researching who to follow for Charlotte Hornets news. Perley is a writer for the Charlotte Hornets official website and is a great follow for live-tweeting during the Hornets game. If you want to read up on the Hornets preseason to prepare you for the regular season, definitely check out Perley’s Twitter.

Bonnell immediately won me over with his Twitter bio. “Survived 7-59 Bobcats with some grace and sanity.” Any person who can sit through a 7-59 season from a dead franchise deserves every prize in NBA journalism. Bonnell recently wrote an article on Gordon Hayward that any basketball fan should check out over at the Charlotte Observer. While all Charlotte Hornets fans feel the pain of past failures, Bonnell does an excellent job describing that pain. Give him a follow.
