The NBA draft is this Thursday, everybody knows pretty much who the top three picks going to be. Zion Williamson, Ja Morant, and RJ Barrett are slated to be the first three players taken. After that it should be interesting, there could be a lot of trades and surprising picks. Here are a few players i like after the top three are gone. NBA Lottery Prospects
Jarrett Culver SG Texas Tech
Jarrett Culver is 6-foot-7 and has the versatility to defend multiple positions. He improved his scoring tremendously from his freshman to sophomore year. As a freshman, Culver only averaged 11.2 points per game. In his sophomore season, he upped his scoring average to 18.5 points per game. On the NBA level, Culver must improve his three-point shooting. He only shot 30 percent from three in college last season. But he has a solid mid-range game and can get to the basket. I can see Culver making an impact on both ends of the floor in the NBA.
De’Andre Hunter SF Virginia
De’Andre Hunter is 6- foot-8 with a 7-foot wingspan, who can also guard multiple positions. He could possibly be the best defender in the NBA draft. Hunter shot 43 percent from three last season. He will struggle to put the ball on the floor and is not really good at creating off the dribble. Hunter will be a classic three and defense guy. He plays well without the ball, knows how to find the open spots on the court. WIth Hunter being strong you can play him at the four spot and he can be stretch four.
Darius Garland PG Vanderbilt
Darius Garland will be an excellent pick wherever he goes. Last season at Vanderbilt he averaged 16.2 points per game while shooting 53 percent from the field and 47 percent from three. Also. Garland is an excellent ball handler. One of the biggest knocks on Garland is his lack to get his teammates involved. If Garland can learn to share the basketball more, he could turn out to be All-Star one day. The one thing he can do is score the basketball.
Bol Bol C Oregon
One of the most intriguing NBA Lottery prospects to me is Bol Bol. He is the son of former NBA player Manute Bol. The younger Bol is 7-2 and can shoot the three well. He shot 52 percent from three in short time before a foot injury forced him out. Bol projects to be perfect pick and pop player with his three-point range. He also has good athleticism and has the speed for his size to be a threat to run the floor. Along with his outside game, Bol can also score down low and has outstanding touch around the rim. The downside is Bol is coming off a stress fracture in his left foot, and he is only 208 pounds.
