Fantasy Football PPR Ranking for Running Back in Week 2 could be a headache. Tevin Coleman and Derrius Guice did not stay long enough on the field to show us if they would pay off their sleeper value. A basic 50/50 timeshare in Denver with Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman and LeSean McCoy making his Chiefs debut having people wondering what would Damien Williams value be?

One of the biggest questions I had Sunday in my start/session over at
https://twitter.com/BellyUpFantasy was to start Ekeler or Guice? Ekeler made sure that any questions the Chargers may have had to sign Melvin Gordon were answered! He straight up balled in a PPR setting rushing for 58 yards and a TD as well as 6 receptions for 96 yards and 2 TDS. Join me this Sunday for more start/sit questions.

If you would like to know how I go about my rankings, I write about the process I use in my quarterback rankings for week 2.

#1 Running Back Run CMC

This is probably going to be the norm. McCaffrey is the ultimate fantasy player. You are getting the best of both worlds in rushing and receiving. Mcaffrey faces the Tampa Bay Bucs on Thursday night. in 2018 against the Bucs, McCaffrey ran for 185 yards, 14 receptions for 133 yards and 3 total touchdowns. Run CMC should give us a show in week 2, primetime Thursday night!

Running Back to Watch

PPR Running Back Week 2

Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams

I know there are a lot of questions here with the Rams offense and Todd Gurley. Malcolm Brown stole some carries as well as touchdowns. What I am looking at is the Saints run defense. I think most of us were so focused on Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins, we didn’t realize that the Saints gave up 180 yards on the ground to Duke Johnson and Carlos Hyde. If Gurley is going to get right, this is the spot! The Saints play much slower away, the stars align for Gurley.

RB Not High On This Week

PPR Running Back Week 2

Devonta Freeman, Atlanta Falcons

I was very hype coming into the season, making Devonta Freeman one of my bounce back players coming into 2019. On Sunday in a tough matchup vs the Vikings, Freeman rushed 8 times for 19 yards and 1 costly fumble in an ugly game. The offensive line looked horrible and there was never a rhythm to get Freeman going. This week the Falcons take on the Philadelphia Eagles who only gave up 28 yards, it was on 13 carries but still were physical with the backs. Of course, if Freeman is your only option you play him, but you can not feel too good about this matchup.

If you need a little help with quarterback rankings, please take a look at my week 2 rankings.
