October 29th  is approaching, the trade deadline its almost here and the teams have already begun to make movements. It is expected that these movements will intensify in the coming days as the aforementioned date gets closer, but right now we will review the trades that we have registered until today, along with other NFL news and then we will go to our Pack ATS Picks Week 8.

Atlanta Falcons / New England Patriots

The Falcons trade WR Mohamed Sanu to the Patriots in exchange for a 2020 second round Pick.

Oakland Raiders / Houston Texans

The Raiders have traded CB Gareon Conley to the Texans in exchange for a 2020 third-round Pick.

Denver Broncos / San Francisco 49ers

WR Emmanuel Sanders moves from the Broncos to the Niners in exchange for two 2020 Picks,  a third and a fourth-round pick.

Detroit Lions

Lions starting RB Kerryon Johnson had surgery on his knee and was put on IR, he will miss at least 8 weeks.

Minnesota Vikings

WR Adam Thielen injured his hamstring and will lose 1 or 2 weeks of action.

Atlanta Falcons

QB Matt Ryan suffered an ankle injury in the game against the Rams, apparently is not serious, and he could even play this week. But we have to monitor the situation.

Kansas City Chiefs

Madden’s curse attacks again…. QB Patrick Mahomes suffered a knee injury, apparently is not very serious but he will miss at least from 2 to 4 weeks.

How we did it in Week 7

We took a big risk and got beaten up. But the one who doesn’t risk doesn’t win, we have to learn from our mistakes and be stronger than ever this week.

Hunch Pick of the Week: Lions +2

It seems that Cousins finally adapted to the new offensive system and backed by a very good defense and his RB Dalvin Cook finally at 100% beat the Lions 42-30, pick failed.

Hunch Pick Number Two: Bears-3

The Bears’ offense didn’t show up and his defense couldn’t win the game without help. They lost 36-25 to the Saints and we failed our Pick.

Additional Hunch Pick: Atlanta +3

The Falcons were easily beaten at home by the Rams with a score of 37-10 and we failed the Pick.

Last Hunch Feeling Pick: Cowboys -2.5

The Cowboys had his startings WR ́s and OL’s back on the field and Dallas resumed their previous level, crushed the Eagles with a score of 37-10 and we hit our Pick $$$.

Blacklist

Washington Redskins

The Redskins remain on our blacklist.  I do not recommend betting them either in favor or against.

Tennessee Titans

They looked much better with Tannehill than with Mariota, so they are out of the blacklist due to the change of QB.

Kansas City Chiefs

That’s right, although it seems incredible, the Chiefs enter our blacklist. I do not recommend betting them either in favor or against until we can see how they play a complete game without Mahomes.

Week 8 ATS Picks

We will follow a much less risky strategy than last week, please join me to see my week 8 ATS Picks.

Pick of the Week: Chargers +4
ATS picks week 8
Robert Gauthier/ Los Angeles Times/TNS

Los Angeles Chargers at Chicago Bears: The Bears offense is totally inoperative, these rivals have already found a way to move the ball and score against his defense and the Chargers have distinguished themselves for either they win or they lose their games are very close. I think Rivers and company will find a way to move the ball in Chicago, while the Bears will continue with their offensive problems. Therefore I stay with Los Angeles and its 4 points of advantage.

Pick of the Sad Brothers: Lions -6.5

NY Giants at Detroit Lions: This Pick was baptized like this because two of my brothers are Giants fans. The Lions have lost two in a row and are urged to win at home, while the Giants simply don’t have the necessary personnel to be a competitive team. Daniel Jones is making many mistakes and I think the Lions will take advantage that the rookie likes to risk to cause turnovers from him. I think the Lions will win this game for at least 1 TD. This Pick in some casinos is at -6.5 and in others -7, look for the first option, that half point is worth a lot.

Hunch Pick: Eagles +1.5

Philadelphia Eagles at Buffalo Bills: I think it’s time for the Bills to lose their second game, the Eagles were crushed by the Cowboys last Sunday. But I don’t think the Bills can do the same, the Achilles of the Egles has been their bad secondary. But, in this case, the Bills do not have a strong air attack, this gives an edge to the Eagles which they can take advantage of in order for their defense to make a good game and can get the much-needed win in his visit to Buffalo.

Additional Pick: Patriots -13

New England Patriots at Cleveland Browns: Belichick’s defense against Baker Mayfield and the struggling  Browns Offensive is not a good match. Cleveland is battling a lot on the offensive side and his defense is not characterized for being one of the best units in the league. I think that Belichick will take advantage of the inexperience of Mayfield and his HC Freddie Kitchens to force them to make mistakes. Brady and his offense will not have many problems to score at least 27 or 30 points in the game.
