Man that Adrian Wojnarowski just doesn’t know when to quit. First it was the Anthony Davis news in the beginning of the week. Now, it’s dropping the bomb that is that the New York Knicks best player, who hasn’t played all year due to a ACL injury that happened last year, looks like will be on the market to be had for the highest bidder.

In an article written by Ramona Shelbourne, Porzingas cites not knowing where he stands with the organization and basically not trusting the Knicks to be able to put together a good roster because the Knicks haven’t put together a good roster in decades. Seems like the Unicorn doesn’t really have much faith in the Knicks brass to able to bring in any major free agents. It’s a legit gripe due to no one ever going to NYC to play basketball. Can’t really blame the guy. Maybe, Porzingas is a bit perturbed that the Knicks might include him in a trade for Anthony Davis. Perhaps, Porzingas wants that untouchable status and is offended he’s not looked at like that.

Now, there are rumblings that Kevin Durant might be looking to come to the Knicks next year in an effort to show people he can win championships with a bad team. But then again, every single player in the league will be connected to the Knicks come the trade deadline and the Summer. If Porzingas was so sure Durant was coming to the Knicks to help revise this bad, non-small market franchise, I don’t know why he’d try and force a trade. Maybe he doesn’t think he’ll actually come to the Knicks. Who the hell knows. It’s before the All Star break during Super Bowl week and folks will take any kind of news of the NBA and make it into being the most important thing going. I just did it and I feel alright about it. Either way, I’ll be eating some good inner tonight. Really looking forward to it.
