Monday Night Raw comes to us live tonight from inside the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA!
The Pregnant 24/7 Champion
Maria Kanellis defeated her husband, Mike Kanellis last week to become the first ever pregnant 24/7 champion. No one wants to pin a pregnant lady, and WWE is making that clear. Superstars normally chasing after the title stopped and let her walk free. So, the question now is, who’s going to beat her?
My favorite rumor as of now is to have King Maxel, Matt Hardy’s son defeat her. Maxel has been on WWE TV before. In TNA, Matt Hardy used his son quite a bit during his run as ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy. He even picked up a victory of the then Rockstar Spud, now Drake Maverick.
If Maxel was able to pin Maria, Maverick can get his win back after all this time! Shout out to 50/50 booking.
Can the O.C. Keep Momentum Heading Into SummerSlam?
Since coming back together to form the O.C., Gallows, Anderson, and Styles have been on fire. They’ve taken over Monday Night Raw, holding every championship possible on the brand except for the Universal championship.
Styles is gearing up for his match with Ricochet, which will probably steal the show at SummerSlam. It’s unclear who Gallows & Anderson will face at the moment but they’re sure to have a match. Put them in there with the Usos or Revival, and you’ll make magic.
How Injured is Seth Rollins?
Last week, Seth Rollins was given the beating of his life. He was attacked by Brock Lesnar during his match against Dolph Ziggler. Lesnar had his way with Rollins. He F5’d him all over the arena, made him bleed from his mouth, and had him leave the arena in an ambulance.
Seth Rollins won’t disclose the extent of his injuries right now. He’s scared of the possibility of what the WWE would say if his injuries were released. In his mind, if WWE finds out, he’s not wrestling this Sunday.
It’s safe to say this match is happening, the build has been fantastic, and Lesnar is showing up more often than not. Only one Raw missed since recapturing the belt last month, and that was Raw Reunion. As long as Lesnar keeps showing up, he’s a great Universal champion.
