What is happening? Let’s dive into a must read article shall we? My name is Kayla and I am the pro wrestling department head at Belly Up Sports, and I am a fan just like you. All I am doing is expressing myself in a WTH: What the Heck? article.
Should WWE prepare for the AEW takeover? WWE recently released Luke Harper, Sin Cara and The Ascension. What does this mean exactly? All those wrestlers have the talent but never was used right. We have also seen the release of TJ Perkins who went to New Japan and Impact, and Tye Dillinger is now Shawn Spears in AEW. There is also two former WWE Superstars on the AEW roster; Jon Moxley aka Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho. Also Jack Swagger is a former WWE Superstar as well.
Where does this really take off at?
WWE might need to watch who they let go. There is plenty of wrestling brands that is looking for great talent. AEW is on the top for sure. The new releases have not confirmed any new signings with any brands yet. I strongly hope that Luke Harper, Viktor and Konnor sign with AEW.
They would be able to show off their talent and hopefully wrestling fans around the world will be able to see what they are made of; instead of some washed up has been that the WWE seems to throw into the buried talent folder. The worse folder of all “we don’t know what to do with you, “ or “you are not good enough” folder.
I have seen several superstars in the past, don’t get TV time because Vince McMahon and company thinks they won’t win over the crowd. How the heck do you know? Craziest thing is that the wrestlers you would think who would not win over the fans, come around and surprise you and the fans love them. Fans hate the over used popular ones. *Cough. Cough.* Brock Lesnar.
Roman Reigns, Mojo Rawley, Randy Orton and others have signed multi year contracts to stay with WWE. The question I ask? How long will that last after they expire? As the What the Heck article continues… What are some moments I thought could go?
What the Heck Moments?
Let’s see how about the Lana, Rusev, and Lashley storyline. It’s beyond ridiculous now. It needs to be buried with the worse storylines ever, or even better the most annoying ever. How about Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin dumping wet dog food on Roman Reigns?
I get it “Big Dog” but honestly that could be the worse storyline ever as well. How much longer do we got to see Reigns get destroyed by Ziggler and a not so much King of the Ring Corbin… Heck! He puts the King of the Ring to shame. That’s just my opinion.
I could write all day about storylines that needs to go and probably piss off a lot of wrestling fans, but we all are titled to our own opinions. Right? Of course we are. Till the next time when the pro wrestling department head at Belly Up Sports speaks her mind.
